Arise to New Life Many Christians who love the Lord have suffered trauma that left emotional wounds. Often this one event will hinder their spiritual development. You are not responsible for what happened to you, but you are responsible for your present day response. You have the Life of God in you and I encourage you to speak Resurrection to the death that trauma brought to your soul. You have passed from death to Life! Prayer: Father God, I arise to new life this day. I shake off the entanglements, hurts, bruises and sins of the past. It’s a new day! Thank You for doing a new thing in my life, Father. Forgetting the former things, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. I have the Life of God in me! Amen. Scripture Reading |

Break The Cycle
In the same way history repeats itself, our lives create a history of patterns—cycles. Ignoring history ensures its repetition; ignoring our own behavior and response patterns ensures we will repeat them. Every disease has a spiritual root, every hurtful act perpetrated upon another has consequences, and every weaponized act received marks us.
While we should definitely learn from past experiences, refuse to mentally re-entertain those again and again. Learn from them and move on. Refuse to listen to the same old messages against you—refuse their oppressive, hypnotic taunts!
Step away from the contest.
Discern destructive elements.
Don’t sugar-coat the facts.
Now, step back in and… break the cycle.
Amen.
Proverbs 4
"GOD is ABOUT to DO SOMETHING NEW"
-David Wilkerson (1 Sept 2003)
I am not a Jeremiah, but for a number of years, I have acted
as a watchman on the wall, warning of impending judgments.
Yet, I have preached that God's judgments are always
redemptive. He is a loving God who must at times redeem
and correct sinful people through chastenings.
Recently, I have been preaching that God is about to do
something new and glorious. This new thing is beyond revival,
beyond an awakening. It is a work of God that He alone
initiates when He can no longer endure the polluting of His
holy name. There comes a time when God determines
that His Word has been so trampled into the mire, and
abominations have so defiled what is called "the church,"
He must rise up and defend His name before a lost world.
"For His own name's sake," God is going to do two mighty
works. First, He is going to purge the nations and His
church with awesome redemptive judgments. He is going
to stop the invasion into His house by homosexuals and
charlatans - and He is going to purify and cleanse the
ministry and raise up shepherds after His own heart.
Second, God is going to glorify His holy name with a great
intervention of mercy. In the throes of judgments being
fulfilled, God is going to save the day by a supernatural
"turning" of a remnant back to Himself. What He did for
Israel when they were judged, He will do again in the days
ahead. You can read it all in Ezekiel 36:21-38.
Summed up, this is what is prophesied:
"I will have pity for My holy name which has been profaned
among the heathen... not for your sakes, but for My own
name's sake. The heathen shall know I am God. I will
sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean of all
filthiness. I will give you a new heart and a new spirit.
I will cause you to walk in My ways. I will save you from all
your uncleanness. Not for your sakes do I do this, but for my
own name's sake." (Also see Ezekiel 20:22,44.)
For God's people, glorious days are ahead. Do not fret.
God's holy name, and His pure Word, will be vindicated.
Something greater than revival is coming. God says, "I will
do a new thing." It has to do with restoring the glory of His
Name - the glory that is in Christ, the Lord.
-D. Wilkerson.

Supernatural
Truths we awaken to by study and discipline lead us to relevant spiritual excellence for this generation; and, those truths, quickened by the Spirit and developed in the heart, transfer to family members and all those the Lord places in our sphere of influence. Our lives are supernatural really because we carry the Lord with us as we go: “Our lives are a fragrance presented by Christ to God… to those who are being saved we are a life-giving perfume.”
Life-giving is our hope, our fervent expectation. And that hope is not ashamed, but continues daily, increasing in the expectation that as God-vision and human-hope converge, the message we live, plain-spoken or eloquent, hits the mark and accomplishes the goal: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Amen.

The Lord Is On Your Side
Expect corrupt influences to fall by their own counsel. The Lord is the one in charge, executing righteousness and justice against oppression and oppressors. Ultimately, all who take advantage of those who cannot fight back, given their situation, will be impaled on their own counsel, soon reaping the same kind of harm they once advanced. Everything reproduces after its own kind.
The mercy of God is unending and impossible to measure in human terms, but at some point, His mercy becomes judgment—even His mercy is perfect justice. The one who devises hurt, taking pleasure in the confusion they wield, heaping weights that cannot possibly be carried, does not know or understand the Lord; they are empty-headed and their philosophies will prove empty, their religion vain, and their ignorance of the Power about to be released against their actions, rewarded.
Be certain you are on the Lord’s side.
Amen.

Religious Tradition
Religious tradition often questions God’s authority, replacing divine authority with human method and penalizing those wanting to know and obey the Lord. Generations, present and future, are affected by the error in such flawed dictates.
The Lord’s heart in the matter is clear, as should be our own: Anything that questions God’s authority to govern also rejects His will. Anything that rejects the will of God is a rejection of God and His Spirit, a rejection of divine direction and truth.
We are accountable before the Lord to base our lives upon truth and refuse every contrary claim, even if it means stepping away from established traditions of family, convenience, or more popular views. The Church is also accountable and will answer for every teacher and teaching that dims the light of truth or ridicules supernatural power and presence.
It’s time to stop backing up on your convictions in this matter. Don’t be double-minded. Take your stand.
Amen.

Confident
“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? (Isaiah 53:1)
“But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”” (John 12:37-38)
Keep this in mind. Oppression is the result of tumult from the dark side. It’s one side of the big picture—the inferior side. The other side is the Lord’s, and He has a prophet of His in every house. His Word is demonstrated in the lives of those who are His people—those on the side of righteousness.
Oppression seeks to build a case, accusing the Lord has not performed His Word. Yet those who take their stand on the Lord’s side continue to trust in His Word. Having done everything necessary to stand thus far, they boldly continue to stand, no matter what!
Ultimately, oppression is silenced by the voice of the Lord and His Divine rule. The voice of the Lord is forever—never ending, never less, announcing even more loudly today promises believed yesterday, the day before, and the day before that.
We believe. We remain confident.
Amen.
